Katie receives her diploma
|
Katie graduated with her Masters of Medical Science in the Physician’s Assistant program at Emory University in December of 2005. She graduated at the top of her class with highest honors and a perfect 4.0 GPA. At an award ceremony preceding graduation, Katie won two awards: one for Outstanding Senior Paper Presentation, and one for Outstanding Academic Performance. She was the only student to receive two faculty-chosen awards.
In preparation of employment, Katie also passed her NCCPA Certification Exam (PA boards), scoring in the 90th percentile of the distribution. After interviewing for several employment opportunities, Katie is now working at Georgia Cancer Specialists as a midlevel provider.
